Personal Assistant Flu Vaccination Programme

This year, with COVID-19 around, it is more important than ever that we do all we can to reduce the impact of seasonal flu on those who are most at risk.  

All health and frontline Social Care Workers providing direct personal care are eligible to receive a free NHS flu vaccination this year.  The flu vaccinations will take place at local community pharmacies. 

Personal Assistants delivering a direct personal care service for people under a Self-directed Support Option 1 arrangement (“Direct Payment”) are also eligible for a free NHS flu vaccination. 

Dundee Health & Social Care Partnership has written to your employer advising them how you go about scheduling your free NHS flu vaccination.
